ABOUT
I am
a journalist and documentary filmmaker whose work has been shown around the
world at festivals and on television.
I am currently on the staff of the U.S.'s leading Greek American newspaper, The National Herald and a regular contributor to Odyssey magazine. I've also written for publications like Athens News, Fodor's travel guides, Cineaste, Edible Queens and HSToday.
I graduated with a degree in
Social Studies from Harvard University in '94. For three years after that, I
learned the ropes of documentary production at Latin American-flavored Boston
company Geovision.
Between 1997 and 2008 I lived and worked in Athens, Greece.
I saw and critiqued every Greek film released between 1997 and 2008.
